Video: IndiGo Crew Member Ties Rakhi On Flight, To Her Brother - The Pilot

Raksha Bandhan is the celebration of the unique bond between siblings. While it is celebrated with much zeal across the country, it is not uncommon for hectic schedules and work commitments to keep loved ones away from each other on the day of the festival. One sibling duo got the opportunity to celebrate the festival on a flight. Yes, Shubha,  an IndiGo Airlines cabin crew member got to celebrate the festival with her brother Gaurav, who was the pilot.

A video of the heartwarming moment shared on X [formerly Twitter] shows Shubha tying the sacred thread on Captain Gaurav's wrist and the pilot touching her feet. 

The video begins with Shubha making a special announcement to passengers before the flight takes off. “In a profession like ours, it is not that every year we get to celebrate festivals and special moments with our loved ones back home, because it is important for us to take you back home so you can celebrate with your loved ones,” she says on the flight interphone system, adding, “That's why, today is a very special day for me and my brother Gaurav, who is on board today to make sure that we celebrate Raksha Bandhan together after many years.”

With Captain Gaurav standing next to her, she adds, “Like all brothers and sisters, we also laugh and cry, play and fight, but he's my rock, my best friend, my shoulder to lean on.” To this, the passengers begin applauding as Shubha proceeds to tie the rakhi on her brother's hand.

The tweet by IndiGo says, “At 30,000 feet or on the ground, the bond of a brother and sister remains special. A heartwarming moment on board today as our Check Cabin Attendant Shubha celebrates Rakhi with her brother Capt. Gaurav.”

विमान के पंख पर खड़े होकर डांस करते और फोटो खींचते दिखे केबिन क्रू के सदस्य, वायरल Video देख हैरान रह जाएंगे

सोशल मीडिया पर एक वीडियो वायरल हो रहा है, जिसमें स्विस इंटरनेशनल एयर लाइन्स (Swiss International Air Lines) के केबिन क्रू सदस्यों (cabin crew members) को बोइंग 777 विमान (Boeing 777 aircraft) के विंग पर डांस करते और तस्वीरें लेते हुए पकड़ा गया है. जिसके बाद अब उन्हें नाराज मालिकों की जांच का सामना करना पड़ रहा है. वायरल हो रहे वीडियो फुटेज को एक यात्री ने रिकॉर्ड किया था, जो हवाई अड्डे के टर्मिनल पर इंतजार कर रहा था.

वीडियो में एक महिला फ्लाइट अटेंडेंट को विमान के विंग पर डांस करते हुए दिखाया गया है, और बाद में उसके साथ एक पुरुष सहकर्मी भी शामिल हो जाता है. इसके बाद, एक दूसरा शख्स, जिसे वरिष्ठ केबिन प्रमुख माना जाता है, बाहर आता है और बॉडीबिल्डिंग पोज़ देने के लिए आगे बढ़ता है.

क्लिप में ग्राउंड क्रू के दो सदस्यों को हवाई जहाज के इंजन के सामने तस्वीर खिंचवाते हुए भी दिखाया गया है.

यह वीडियो इस महीने की शुरुआत में रिकॉर्ड किया गया था और इससे स्विस इंटरनेशनल एयर लाइन्स के प्रबंधन में नाराजगी फैल गई.

वायरल क्लिप पर प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए एयरलाइंस ने एक बयान में कहा कि 'यह व्यवहार बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जाएगा.'

स्विस प्रवक्ता माइकल पेल्ज़र ने कहा, "वीडियो में जो मज़ेदार लग रहा है वह जीवन के लिए ख़तरा है."

"बोइंग 777 के पंख लगभग पाँच मीटर [16.4 फीट] ऊँचे हैं. उस ऊँचाई से कठोर सतह पर गिरना विनाशकारी हो सकता है."

द न्यू यॉर्क पोस्ट के अनुसार, पेल्ज़र ने दोहराते हुए कहा कि चालक दल को विमान के पंखों पर केवल तभी पैर रखना चाहिए, जब निकासी जैसी गंभीर आपात स्थिति हो.

उपराष्ट्रपति मार्टिन नुचेल सहित एयरलाइन अधिकारियों ने इस प्रकार की मूर्खता पर रोक लगाने का आह्वान करते हुए कहा कि वह "नाराज़ और निराश हैं."

The video was shared by X user @dc_sanjay_jas. When the video opens, we see a woman standing behind what looks to be a fruit cart on the side of a road. She turns back to attend to her children, who are seated on a cloth spread on the ground. A book, pencils and a school bag are also visible. The woman seats one of the kids near her lap and guides his hands to write something in the book. Since there is no audio, we don't know whether she said anything out loud. Rakhi 2023: कल 30 अगस्त के दिन किस समय बांधें भाई को राखी, जानें भद्रा काल का समय और Rakhi का शुभ मुहूर्त

Raksha Bandhan Date 2023: रक्षाबंधन इस साल एक नहीं बल्कि 2 दिनों का मनाया जा रहा है. रक्षाबंधन की तिथि और शुभ मुहूर्त को लेकर सभी में उलझन की स्थिति बन गई है. खासकर यह समझना मुश्किल हो रहा है कि भाई की कलाई पर 30 अगस्त को राखी (Rakhi) बांधना सही रहेगा या फिर 30 अगस्त के दिन राखी बांधनी चाहिए. पंचांग की मानें तो 30 अगस्त के दिन भद्रा काल लग रहा है. भद्रा काल (Bhadra Kaal) लगने का मतलब है भद्रा का साया. मान्यतानुसार, भद्रा के साये में राखी बांधना शुभ नहीं होता है. ऐसे में राखी किस दिन, किस समय और किस मुहूर्त में बांधनी चाहिए, जानें यहां.

राखी बांधने का शुभ दिन और मुहूर्त | Rakhi Bandhne Ka Shubh Din Aur Muhurt 

भाई बहन के स्नेह और प्रेम का प्रतीक है रक्षाबंधन. इस साल पंचांग के अनुसार, श्रावण शुक्ल पक्ष की पूर्णिमा तिथि पर भद्रा का योग होने के कारण रक्षाबंधन 30 और 31 अगस्त दोनों दिन मनाई जा सकती है. भद्रा का साया (Bhadra Ka Saya) 30 अगस्त रक्षाबंधन के दिन सुबह 10 बजकर 13 मिनट से रात 8 बजकर 57 मिनट तक है. ऐसे में 30 तारीख को रात 8 बजकर 57 मिनट के बाद राखी बांधी जा सकती है. 

31 अगस्त के दिन भद्रा का साया नहीं होगा. माना जाता है कि राखी सुबह या दोपहर के समय बांधनी चाहिए और रात के समय राखी बांधने से परहेज करना चाहिए. इस चलते 31 अगस्त के दिन सुबह 7 बजकर 30 मिनट से पहले राखी बांधी जा सकती है. 

पूर्णिमा तिथि और भद्रा का समय 

इस साल पूर्णिमा तिथि सुबह 10:13 मिनट पर शुरू हो रही है. 
पूर्णिमा तिथि की समाप्ति 31 अगस्त, गुरुवार को सुबह 7:46 मिनट पर खत्म होगी. 
भद्रा काल 30 अगस्त सुबह 10:13 मिनट पर शुरू हो जाएगा और भद्रा काल की समाप्ति रात 8:57 मिनट पर होगी. 

माना जाता है कि भद्रा का साया लगने पर किसी भी तरह के मांगलिक और शुभ कार्य नहीं किए जाते हैं. पौराणिक कथाओं के अनुसार रावण (Ravana) की बहन ने उसे भद्रा काल में राखी बांधी थी जिसके बाद उसका वध हो गया था. इसीलिए भद्रा काल में राखी बांधने से बचा जाता है.

VIDEO: कर्नाटक में 40 फीट ऊंची दीवार फांदकर फरार हुआ रेप का आरोपी, घटना CCTV में हुई कैद

कर्नाटक के दावणगेरे सब जेल में एक कैदी 40 फीट ऊंची दीवार फांदकर फरार हो गया. ये वारदात 25 अगस्त की बताई जा रही है. कैदी के फरार होने की ये घटना सब जेल में लगे CCTV कैमरे में कैद हो गई. फरार कैदी का नाम वसंत बताया जा रहा है, जिसे बलात्‍कार के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया गया था. बता दें कि वसंत की उम्र सिर्फ 23 साल है. वसंत को अगले दिन 26 अगस्त को हावेरी से दोबारा गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया. 

कर्नाटक की हाईटेक जेल से कैदी के फरार होने की वारदात के बाद प्रशासन पर कई सवाल खड़े होने लगे थे. ऐसे में पुलिस ने 24 घंटों के भीतर ही फरार कैदी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया. जानकारी के मुताबिक, 23 साल का वसंत बलात्‍कार के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया गया था. इसके बाद वसंत को अदालत में पेश किया गया, फिर उसे सब जेल में भेज दिया गया.

बताया जा रहा है कि वसंत 25 अगस्‍त को सब जेल की 40 फीट ऊंची दीवार फांदकर भाग गया. इस दौरान वसंत को इतनी ऊंचाई से कूदने की वजह से पैर में काफी चोट भी लगी. लेकिन वह इसके बावजूद वहां से फरार हो गया. वसंत के जेल से फरार होने की पूरी घटना एक सीसीटीवी में भी कैद हो गई.

मुजफ्फरनगर : छात्रों से दूसरे छात्र को पिटवाने का मामला, प्रशासन ने शुरू की स्कूल की मान्यता रद्द करने की कार्रवाई

उत्तर प्रदेश के मुजफ्फरनगर के एक स्कूल में शिक्षिका द्वारा छात्रों से छात्र की पिटाई कराने के मामले में अब प्रशासन एक्शन मोड में दिख रहा है. NDTV को मिली जानकारी के अनुसार छात्र की पिटाई का वीडियो वायरल होने के बाद अब प्रशासन ने उस स्कूल की मान्यता रद्द करने की प्रक्रिया को शुरू कर दिया है. साथ में यह भी कहा गया है कि उस स्कूल में पढ़ रहे बच्चों को दूसरे स्कूल में दाखिला दिलवाया जाएगा. बता दें कि NDTV ने सोमवार को संबंधित स्कूल का भी दौरा किया जहां यह घटना हुई थी. 

NDTV ने किया उस गांव का दौरा

NDTV ने सोमवार को उस गांव का भी दौरा किया जहां यह स्कूल है. गांव का दौरा करने के बाद पता चला कि इस गांव में इसे मिलाकर सिर्फ दो ही स्कूल हैं. जिस स्कूल में यह घटना हुई है उसके अलावा गांव में एक और स्कूल है लेकिन उसमें सिर्फ 5वीं तक की ही पढ़ाई होती है. यह दूसरा स्कूल सरकारी है. इस सरकारी प्राइमरी स्कूल का जब NDTV ने दौरा किया तो पाया कि वहां पहले ही कमरों की कमी है, जिसके चलते बच्चों को खुले में पढ़ाया जा रहा है. ऐसे में जब एजुकेशनल इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर की पहले ही किल्लत है तो ऐसे में एक स्कूल को बंद कर दूसरे स्कूल (सरकारी) जिसकी हालत पहले से ही जर्जर है, उसमें बच्चों को दाखिला देना कितना सही होगा, ये एक बड़ा सवाल है.  

गांव का सरकारी स्कूल भी है जर्जर

NDTV ने गांव के ही सरकारी प्राइमरी स्कूल का जब दौरा किया तो पता चला की वहां कुल 6 क्लास चलती हैं, जबकि कमरे केवल चार हैं. इसी के चलते बच्चों को खुले आसमान के नीचे पढ़ाया जा रहा है.सरकारी प्राइमरी स्कूल में अभी 111 बच्चे पढ़ रहे हैं और उनके लिए ही क्लासरूम पर्याप्त नहीं है ऐसे में अगर प्राइवेट स्कूल के 70 बच्चे और यहां दाखिला लेने के लिए आ जाएं तो समस्या बढ़ जाएगी. सरकारी प्राइमरी स्कूल में क्लासरूम की समस्या इसलिए है क्योंकि कुछ समय पहले यहां पर जर्जर हो चुकी इमारत को ढाह दिया गया था लेकिन उसके बदले में नए क्लास रूम का निर्माण अभी नहीं हो पाया है. 

मान्यता रद्द करने की कार्रवाई शुरू

NDTV ने इस पूरे मामले को लेकर शिक्षा विभाग के अधिकारी से बातचीत की. खंड शिक्षा अधिकारी संजय भारती ने कहा कि हमें जानकारी मिली है कि पीड़ित के पिता ने अपने बच्चे का नाम उस स्कूल से कटवा लिया है. पीड़ित के पिता को हमने ऑफर किया है की वह सरकारी स्कूल में अपने बच्चे का दाखिला करवाएं, जहां उसे सभी तरह की सुविधाएं दी जाएंगी.संजय भारती ने बताया कि संबंधित स्कूल की जांच में कई कमियां पाई गई हैं, इनहें लेकर उस स्कूल को नोटिस दिया जाएगा. शाम तक उनका जवाब देने के लिए कहा गया है. जो भी जवाब आएगा उसके आधार पर समिति फैसला करेगी कि स्कूल आगे चलाया जाए या नहीं. साथ ही मान्यता रद्द करने के लिए कारण बताओ नोटिस भी जारी किया गया है. अगर मान्यता रद्द होती है तो विभाग के नियम अनुसार जो बच्चे यहां पढ़ते हैं उनको पास के स्कूलों में दाखिल कराया जाता है. इस स्कूल के बराबर में जो सरकारी प्राइमरी स्कूल है वहां जर्जर अवस्था में तीन क्लासरूम थे, जिनको तुड़वाया गया है. नए क्लासरूम बनाने की प्रक्रिया चल रही है संभवत अक्टूबर तक इसके लिए बजट प्राप्त होगा और नए कमरे बनेंगे.

Meanwhile, Miss Diva is the arm of the Femina Miss India pageant that chooses India's representatives for the Miss Universe pageant. The finale of Miss Diva 2023 was held on Sunday and Shweta Sharda emerged as the winner. Shweta will represent India at the 72nd Miss Universe pageant in El Salvador in November 2023.

On Growing List Of Indian-Origin CEOs, Elon Musk Said...

Many Indian-origin executives are currently holding top positions at several tech and non-tech companies and the list keeps growing each day. Billionaire and Tesla Chief Elon Musk was left impressed by this feat and commented about the same on his platform X, formerly Twitter.

He reacted to a post by World of Statistics, which had a long list of companies that have Indian-origin people at the topmost position. These include Alphabet with Sundar Pichai heading it. Microsoft, YouTube and Adobe are also on the list with Satya Nadella, Neal Mohan and Shantanu Narayen leading the tech giants. 

Ajay Banga, who became the 14th President of the World Bank Group also features on the list and so does Laxman Narasimhan, Ravi Kumar S and Sanjay Mehrotra, Chiefs of Starbucks, Cognizant and Micron Technology respectively. Leena Nair, the Global Chief Executive Officer of French luxury fashion house Chanel, also features in the ranks of Indian-origin corporate bosses across the globe.

Other companies include Albertsons, NetApp, Palo Alto Networks, Arista Networks, Novartis, Honeywell, Flex, Wayfair, OnlyFans, Motorola Mobility and Vimeo.

Recently, Tesla CEO in a tweet said that he ''looks forward'' to visiting India in 2024. Mr Musk was replying to a post by DogeDesigner that read, ''I'm planning to visit India next year" along with a photoshopped image of him in Indian attire. ''I look forward to it'', he replied. 

Notably, the billionaire announced his decision to visit India after he met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New York in June this year. Asked whether PM Modi extended an invitation to him, the billionaire entrepreneur said, ''He did. And yes, I'm tentatively planning to visit India again next year. I'm looking forward.'' His plans to visit the country come amid Tesla's plans to enter India and set up shop here.

पीएम मोदी दिल्ली हवाई अड्डे पर उतरने के बाद वहां मौजूद लोगों को संबोधित कर रहे थे. उनके संबोधन के दौरान एक व्यक्ति किसी संबोधन स्थल पर गिर गया. पीएम मोदी ने जैसे ही देखा कि एक शख्स सामने गिर गया है, उन्होंने तुरंत अपना संबोधन रोकते हुए अपनी टीम के डॉक्टरों को कहा कि वो जाएं और उस शख्स को देखें. 

बता दें कि पीएम मोदी शनिवार की दोपहर नई दिल्ली पहुंचने से पहले अपनी ग्रीस यात्रा के बाद सीधे बेंगलुरु गए थे. वहां उन्होंने ISRO के वैज्ञानिकों से मुलाकात की थी. ISRO मुख्यालय में पीएम मोदी ने चंद्रयान 3 मिशन से जुड़े वैज्ञानिकों से भी मुलाकात की थी. 

पीएम मोदी ने ISRO मुख्यालय में वैज्ञानिकों को संबोधित भी किया था. इस दौरान इसरो के वैज्ञानिकों को संबोधित करते हुए पीएम मोदी भावुक भी हो गए. उन्‍होंने कहा कि आज आपके बीच रहकर काफी खुशी महसूस हो रही है. आज मेरा तन-मन खुशियों से भर गया है. मैं जल्द से जल्द आपके दर्शन करना चाहता था. आप सबको सैल्यूट करना चाहता था. पीएम मोदी ने बताया कि चंद्रयान-3 का मून लैंडर जहां उतरा, उसे 'शिवशक्ति' प्‍वाइंट के नाम से जाना जाएगा. साथ ही उन्‍होंने बताया कि चंद्रयान-2 ने जहां अपने पदचिह्न छोड़े उसे 'तिरंगा' नाम से जाना जाएगा. वहीं, 23 अगस्त को जिस दिन चंद्रयान-3 चंद्रमा पर पहुंचा, उस दिन को अब हिन्दुस्तान 'नेशनल स्पेस-डे' के रूप में मनाएगा.

Sham Kaushal Deconstructs Sunny Deol's Viral Gadar 2 Hand Pump Scene

Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel's Gadar 2 has taken the country by storm. The sequel of Gadar: Ek Prem Katha continues to roar at the box office and how. After all, Gadar 2 is eyeing to enter the 500-crore club. From the songs to the action sequences, the film has struck a chord with critics and fans alike. Now, action director Sham Kaushal has opened up about the fan-favourite hand pump scene in the film. In a conversation with India Today, Sham Kaushal, who is Vicky Kaushal and Sunny Kaushal's father, revealed that the hand pump for him was not just a prop, “but an even bigger hero than Sunny Deol.” The veteran action director revealed, “It started on the page, with the writing and the direction. But executing it was my responsibility.” 

Sham Kaushal added how even a minute change in the cinematography would have “ruined” the impact of the scene. He said, “Even a slight change to the closeups in that sequence would have ruined it. My take on it was that the hand pump wasn't a hand pump, but an even bigger hero than Sunny Deol had suddenly appeared off-screen behind him.” 

Sham Kaushal said that it was a tactic to not reveal the hand pump in the first go, but to make it appear like a “hulk”. 

“We didn't immediately reveal who he [Sunny Deol] had seen out of frame, but made it seem like an even bigger Hulk was standing there. Then we added reactions, and built tension, and only then did we reveal the hand pump. If we'd revealed the hand pump immediately, it wouldn't have been as fun,” said Sham Kaushal. 

Talking about working with Sunny Deol, the action director said that personally, he is a “cool guy,” and revealed they would always “greet each other with a Punjabi jhappi” on the set. Sham Kaushal added that as soon as the actor comes in front of the camera, “It is like watching a lion.”

Gadar 2 was released on August 11. The film, apart from Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, also stars Utkarsh Sharma and Simrat Kaur.

चारा घोटाला : लालू यादव की जमानत के खिलाफ CBI की अर्जी पर सुनवाई 17 अक्टूबर तक टली

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने चारा घोटाला मामले में राष्ट्रीय जनता दल (राजद) नेता लालू प्रसाद यादव को जमानत देने को चुनौती देने वाली सीबीआई की अपील पर अक्टूबर में सुनवाई तय की है. फिलहाल चारा घोटाला मामले में लालू प्रसाद यादव की जमानत के खिलाफ अर्जी पर SC में सुनवाई टल गई है. कोर्ट ने कहा है कि 17 अक्टूबर को सुनवाई करेंगे. सीबीआई की याचिका पर सुनवाई के दौरान लालू की ओर से कपिल सिब्बल ने कहा कि लालू ने 42 महीने जेल में काटे हैं. उनकी किडनी ट्रांसप्लांट हुआ है. लालू प्रसाद यादव ने जमानत रद्द करने की सीबीआई की याचिका का विरोध किया और कहा है कि सीबीआई की याचिका खारिज की जाए.

जवाब में लालू यादव का कहना है कि सजा निलंबित करने के हाईकोर्ट के आदेश को केवल इस आधार पर चुनौती नहीं दी जा सकती कि सीबीआई इस फैसले से असंतुष्ट है. हाईकोर्ट के फैसले में हस्तक्षेप करने की कोई जरूरत नहीं है, क्योंकि हाईकोर्ट का फैसला सामान्य सिद्धांतों और समान नियमों पर आधारित है. बिहार के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री ने खराब स्वास्थ्य और बढ़ती उम्र के कारण बताते हुए कहा है कि उन्हें हिरासत में रखने से सीबीआई का कोई मकसद पूरा नहीं होगा.

दरअसल, लालू प्रसाद यादव की ज़मानत को रद्द करने की सीबीआई ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट से मांग की है. CBI ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट से जल्द सुनवाई की मांग की है. सीबीआई ने दुमका, डोरंडा और चाईबासा और देवघर मामलों में जमानत को चुनौती दी है.

बता दें कि इससे पहले सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने CBI की याचिका को मूल याचिकाओं के साथ जोड़ दिया था. CBI ने डोरंडा कोषागार मामले में लालू यादव को मिली जमानत रद्द करने की मांग की है. सीबीआई ने झारखंड हाईकोर्ट के ज़मानत के आदेश को सुप्रीम कोर्ट चुनौती दी है. लालू को झारखंड के डोरंडा कोषागार मामले में जमानत पर रिहा करने का आदेश दिया था. लालू यादव को डोरंडा कोषागार से जुड़े चारा घोटाले में पांच साल की सजा सुनाई थी, 60 लाख रुपये का जुर्माना भी लगा था. चारा घोटाले में लालू यादव को मुख्य साजिशकर्ता बताया गया था. अब सब मामलों की सुनवाई साथ साथ एक ही पीठ के समक्ष होगी.

चारा घोटाला मामले में सजा काट रहे राष्ट्रीय जनता दल के अध्यक्ष लालू यादव के खिलाफ सीबीआई की याचिका पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट सुनवाई कर रहा है. चार अप्रैल 2022 को लालू यादव को दो मामलों में मिली जमानत के खिलाफ सुनवाई को सुप्रीम कोर्ट तैयार हो गया था. दुमका और चाईबासा कोषागार केस में झारखंड हाईकोर्ट के जमानत जमानत के खिलाफ अपील की गई है. कोर्ट ने लालू यादव को नोटिस जारी कर जवाब मांगा था. दरअसल, सीबीआई ने झारखंड HC के जमानत देने वाले के आदेशों को चुनौती दी है. सीबीआई ने कहा है कि जमानत आदेश का आधार गलत है. लालू यादव ने अपेक्षित समय जेल में नहीं बिताया है. सीबीआई ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट से कहा है कि जमानत की अर्जी मंजूर करते हुए झारखंड हाईकोर्ट ने कहा था कि लालू यादव पहले ही सजा का आधा हिस्सा काट चुके हैं.

CBI ने लालू यादव को लेकर दिए गए झारखंड हाईकोर्ट के दो फैसलों के खिलाफ सुप्रीम कोर्ट में याचिका दाखिल की है. दरअसल झारखंड हाईकोर्ट ने देवघर कोषागार मामले में सजा की आधी अवधि गुजर जाने को आधार पर जमानत दे दी थी और सजा को निलंबित कर दिया था. सीबीआई ने हाईकोर्ट के इसी फैसले के खिलाफ सुप्रीम कोर्ट में याचिका दाखिल की है. झारखंड हाईकोर्ट ने 17 अप्रैल, 2021 को चारा घोटाले से जुड़े दुमका कोषागार मामले में प्रसाद को सजा की आधी अवधि पूरी होने पर जमानत दे दी थी.  इससे जेल से उनकी रिहाई का मार्ग प्रशस्त हुआ था. 

शीर्ष अदालत ने 9 अक्टूबर, 2020 को चारा घोटाला मामले में चाईबासा कोषागार से धन की अवैध निकासी से जुड़े एक मामले में भी प्रसाद को जमानत दे दी थी. दुमका मामले में 24 मार्च, 2018 को प्रसाद को 14 साल की जेल की सजा सुनाते हुए रांची की विशेष सीबीआई अदालत ने भारतीय दंड संहिता की धाराओं और भ्रष्टाचार अधिनियम के तहत क्रमश: 60 लाख रुपये व 30 लाख रुपये का जुर्माना भी लगाया था. यह मामला 1990 के दशक की शुरुआत में दुमका कोषागार से धोखाधड़ी से 3.13 करोड़ रुपये निकालने से जुड़ा है. झारखंड हाईकोर्ट ने 17 अप्रैल 2021 और 9 अक्टूबर 2020 को लालू यादव को अलग-अलग मामले में जमानत दी थी.  सीबीआई ने जमानत दिए जाने के फैसले को सुप्रीम कोर्ट में चुनौती दी है. चार अप्रैल 2022 को सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने मामले में सुनवाई का फैसला किया था और लालू यादव को नोटिस जारी किया था.

UP Girls Dies By Suicide After Neighbour Leaks Private Photos Online: Cops

A 17-year-old girl died by suicide in a village in Uttar Pradesh after her neighbour leaked her private photos online, police said today.

The girl died by suicide on Thursday using a saree while she was in her room.

Her family members had gone to the young man's house to complain against him for uploading the girl's photos online, but they were abused by them, police said.

Additional Superintendent of Police Samar Bahadur Singh said the family had earlier filed a complaint with the police in the matter.

The accused has been identified as Jai Singh, who also used to repeatedly molest the girl, the police said.

When the girl's family confronted Jai Singh's family, they abused them and also threatened to kill them, the police told Press Trust of India.

Police have charged six people under sections 354 (c)(Voyeurism), 306 (abetment of suicide), 504 (breach of the peace), 506 (criminal intimidation), 509 (insulting modesty of a woman) of the IPC and also sections of the POCSO Act.

Police have sent the girl's body for a forensic examination. The accused is yet to be arrested.

Lock Upp 2 contestants: कंगना रनौत का मोस्ट फेमस कंट्रोवर्शियल शो लॉक अप का दूसरा सीजन जल्द ही आने वाला है. रिपोर्ट्स की माने तो इस बार कंगना की जेल में और भी बवाल कटने वाला है. ऐसे में सोशल मीडिया पर लॉक अप 2 के कंटेस्टेंट के नाम तेजी से वायरल हो रहे हैं. इन रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक, कंगना के टीवी शो लॉक अप 2 के लिए कई नामों पर मुहर लग चुकी है. पहला नाम सोशल मीडिया स्टार पुनीत सुपरस्टार का बताया जा रहा है. आइए जानते हैं इस बार 'लॉक अप' में कौन-कौन से कंटेस्टेंट नजर आ सकते हैं.

पुनीत सुपरस्टार

सोशल मीडिया स्टार पुनीत सुपरस्टार ने बिग बॉस में एंट्री के 24 घंटों के अंदर बाहर जाने वाले पहले कंटेस्टेंट बनकर इतिहास रच दिया है. अब उन्होंने पुष्टि की है कि वो लॉक अप 2 का हिस्सा बनने जा रहे हैं.

करण मेहरा

टीवी एक्टर करण मेहरा के भी लॉक अप सीजन 2 में जाने की चर्चा है. 'ये रिश्ता क्या कहलाता है' में 'नैतिक' का रोल निभाकर फेमस हो चुके करण मेहरा कुछ समय पहले घरेलू हिंसा के आरोप में लाइमलाइट में थे. लॉक अप पहले सीजन में करण मेहरा की एक्स वाइफ निशा रावल भी आ चुकी हैं. 

उमर रियाज

संभावित कंटेस्टेंट की लिस्ट में अगला नाम आसिम रियाज के भाई और बिग बॉस 15 के कंटेस्टेंट उमर रियाज का है. रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक, उमर रियाज लॉक अप सीजन 2 में जा सकते हैं. उनके फैंस भी उन्हें इस रियलिटी शो में देखना चाहते हैं. 

प्रियांक शर्मा

रोडिज और स्पिल्टविला जैसे रियलिटी शो से पॉपुलर हो चुके प्रियांक शर्मा का नाम भी 'लॉक अप सीजन 2' के कंटेस्टेंट की लिस्ट में है. हालांकि, अभी तक उनके नाम की पुष्टि नहीं हुई है.

सौंदर्या शर्मा

बिग बॉस 16 की कंटेस्टेंट सौंदर्या शर्मा का नाम भी कंगना रनौत के शो लॉक अप सीजन 2 के संभावित कंटेस्टेंट में है. बिग बॉस 16 में वे टॉप 5 तक नहीं पहुंच पाई थीं लेकिन उन्होंने अच्छा फेम कमाया है.

एमीवे बंटाई

फेमस रैपर एमीवे बंटाई भी कंगना रनौत के टीवी शो में नजर आ सकते हैं. हालांकि अभी तक इन अफवाहों को लेकर उनकी तरफ से कोई रिएक्शन नहीं आया है. वे भी कंगना की जेल में नजर आ सकते हैं.

प्रियंका जग्गा

बिग बॉस 10 फेम प्रियंका जग्गा का नाम भी कंटेस्टेंट की लिस्ट में बताया जा रहा है. बिग बॉस सीजन 10 में हंगामा मचाने वाली प्रियंका जग्गा ने सोशल मीडिया पर लॉक अप 2 में जाने का ऐलान कर डाला है.प्रियंका जग्गा बिग बॉस में इतना हंगामा किया था कि सलमान खान को परेशान होकर उन्हें घर से निकालना पड़ा था.

अर्चना गौतम

इस लिस्ट में एक और नाम है 'बिग बॉस 16' में एंटरटेनमेंट का धमाल मचा चुकीं और 'खतरों के खिलाड़ी 13' की कंटेस्टेंट अर्चना गौतम का है. खबर है कि लॉक अप सीजन 2 में अर्चना नजर आ सकती है. हालांकि अर्चना ने इन खबरों को खारिज किया है.

उर्फी जावेद

खबर है कि कंट्रोवर्शियल क्वीन उर्फी जावेद से भी लॉक अप सीजन 2 का हिस्सा बनने के लिए संपर्क किया गया है, लेकिन उन्होंने एक बार उन्होंने इससे इनकार किया था. उन्होंने ये भी कहा था कि वे इस तरह के शो नहीं करेंगी.

Chess World Cup Prize Money: If Praggnanandhaa Wins Final, He Will Earn...

With Game 1 and Game 2 ending in stalemates, the Chess World Cup final between India's R Praggnanandhaa and world no. 1 Magnus Carlsen will be decided in tie-breakers. In the first game on Tuesday, Praggnanandhaa, playing with white pieces, failed to gain any advantage against Carlsen as both players shook hands after 35 moves. Game 2, on the other hand, saw a similar conclusion as both players agreed on a draw after just 30 moves.

Notably, both Praggnanandhaa and Carlsen are appearing in the Chess World Cup for the first time. Praggnanandhaa is the youngest-ever finalist at the age of 18, while Carlsen, 32, is also chasing his first title at this level.

The winner of the final will bag approximately Rs 90,93,551 ($110k), while the runner-up will receive approximately Rs 66,13,444 ($80). The tournament has a total prize pool of approximately Rs 1,51,392,240.

Carlsen drew the first game of classical chess after 35 moves with the Indian prodigy. In case the second game ended in a tie, the players would have moved to two games of Rapid Chess to decide the winner of this year's Chess World Cup final being played at Baku, Azerbaijan. 

Praggnanandhaa started on a strong note with white pieces and enjoyed a time advantage over the Norwegian in the initial phase. Carlsen managed to bounce back against a player who seemed to be well-versed with the lines and moves the Norwegian was going to opt for.

Both Grandmasters continued their play in the second classical game on Wednesday, in which Magnus had white pieces.

CBSE 10th, 12th Board Exam 2024: केंद्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड धीरे-धीरे 2024 की बोर्ड परीक्षाओं की ओर बढ़ रहा है. लेटेस्ट अपडेट है कि सीबीएसई बोर्ड ने 10वीं, 12वीं बोर्ड परीक्षाओं के संबंध में एक महत्वपूर्ण दिशानिर्देश जारी किए हैं. यह निर्देश आगामी सीबीएसई 10वीं 12वीं बोर्ड परीक्षा 2024 फॉर्म के लिए दिशानिर्देश जारी किए गए हैं. नोटिस में बोर्ड ने सभी स्कूलों को छात्रों के डेट ऑफ बर्थ, फोटोग्राफ और विषयों की सही जानकारी अपलोड करने को कहा गया है. इस दिशानिर्देश के अनुसार छात्र जो भी विषय कक्षा 11वीं में पढ़ेंगे, उन्हें  12वीं कक्षा में उन्हीं सभी विषयों को पढ़ना होगा. वे कक्षा 12वीं में विषयों में बदलाव नहीं कर सकेंगे.

इसके अलावा बोर्ड ने कहा कि अगर कोई छात्र एडिशनल/ ऑप्शनल सब्जेक्ट लेना चाहता है तो वह कक्षा 9वीं या कक्षा 11वीं के पंजीकरण के समय विषयों में बदलाव कर सकता है. इसलिए बोर्ड ने स्कूलों को निर्देश दिया है कि वह कक्षा 10वीं, 12वीं के छात्रों के फॉर्म में सब्जेक्ट को भरते और अपलोड करते समय सावधानी बरतें. कारण कि एक बार फॉर्म में जो भर दिया है, उसमें बदलाव नहीं किया जा सकेगा.

बता दें कि सीबीएसई बोर्ड ने बोर्ड परीक्षा 2024 के लिए एलओसी भरने की प्रक्रिया शुक्रवार, 18 अगस्त से शुरू कर दी है, जो 10 सितंबर तक चलेगी. हालांकि लेट फीस के साथ एलओसी फॉर्म 19 सिंतबर से 25 सितंबर तक भी भरा जा सकता है.

Elon Musk On Chandrayaan-3 Mission: "Good For India"

Hours before India's Chandrayaan-3 completes its Moon mission, Tesla chief and world's richest man Elon Musk has reacted to it. Responding to a post on X (formerly Twitter) that says the cost of Chandrayaan-3 is less that the budget of Interstellar, Mr Musk said the mission is "good for India". The post on X said the budget of India's moon mission is $75 million, while makes of Interstellar - starring Matthew McConaughey - spent $165 million on the project. The Vikram lander on board Chandrayaan-3 will land on the lunar surface on Wednesday evening.

On the day of the launch, news agency Reuters said in a report that Chandrayaan-3 has been built on a budget of just under $75 million (around Rs 615 crore). Giving more details, an ANI report later said that the approved cost of Chandrayaan-3 is Rs 250 crore (excluding launch vehicle costs).

After a dollar-to-rupee conversion, the cost of interstellar comes to around 1,200 crore.

Such comparisons had surfaced earlier too when Indian users of X claimed the budget of Chandrayaan-3 is less than that of Prabhas and Kriti Sanon-starrer 'Adipurush' (Rs 700 crore).

However, trade analysts pegged the movie's budget at much lower. Official figure is not available.

Chandrayaan-3 includes a 2-metre tall lander designed to deploy a rover near the lunar south pole where it is expected to remain functional for two weeks running a series of experiments.

Chandrayaan-3's development phase commenced in January 2020, with the launch planned sometime in 2021. However, the Covid-19 pandemic brought an unforeseen delay to the mission's progress.

ISRO's Chandrayaan-2 mission in 2020 successfully deployed an orbiter but its lander and rover were destroyed in a crash near where the Chandrayan-3 will attempt a touchdown.

"He Has Already Beaten Carlsen So...": Praggnanandhaa's Father To NDTV

Young Indian Grandmaster R Praggnanandhaa is on the cusp of greatness as he takes on world no. 1 Magnus Carlsen of Norway in the Chess World Cup final on Tuesday. The 18-year-old registered a stunning victory over world no. 3 Fabiano Caruana in the semi-final to become the youngest Indian to reach the final of the tournament. Praggnanandhaa's father, Rameshbabu, is confident that his son can go all the way, having already defeated the Norwegian Grandmaster on multiple occasions in the past.

"Everyone of us is very happy. I haven't really spoken to him yet. He has already beaten Carlsen multiple times so this will definitely help. He has been preparing, not just for this tournament," Praggnanandhaa father Rameshbabu said during a chat with NDTV.

This will be the 20th meeting between Praggnanandhaa and Carlsen, with the Indian leading 7:6 on head to head.

Praggnanandhaa and Carlsen had met earlier this year at the Masters, with the 67-move match ending in a tie.

For the record, Praggnanandhaa is the first Indian in 21 years to reach the final of the Chess World Cup since Viswanathan Anand, who won the tournament in 2000 and 2002.

Carlsen has occupied the world No. 1 rating for over 10 years, while Praggnanandhaa cracked the world top 30 for the first time during the ongoing tournament.

Earlier, Praggnanandhaa had orchestrated one of the biggest upsets of the FIDE World Cup after he eliminated American grandmaster Hikaru Nakamura in the tiebreakers.

UP Cops Told To Use Hindu Calendar For Crime Control On Darker Nights

A circular issued by the police chief of Uttar Pradesh has directed officials at the police station level to map and track crime according to dates on the Hindu calendar.

Police chief Vijay Kumar, a 1988 batch IPS office who was made officiating DGP in June this year, has said a statewide assessment has pointed to a high rate of crime a week before new moon -- amavasya -- and the week after it.

The police chief's circular directs district police wings to mark the fortnight of darker nights according to the Hindu calendar. District police forces have been asked to step up vigils and closely track crime alerts received on these nights. These inputs should then be used to identify crime hotspots and use them for more effective policing, the circular said. This exercise to identify hotspots should be done down to the level of each police station in the state, the state police chief said.

Criminal elements are more active during the night and incidents such as murder, theft, burglary and crimes against women have a negative impact on public consciousness, the circular said. The circular stated that effective night policing is key to making citizens feel safe.

According to police sources, intensified vigil and close tracking of crimes during darker nights is an age-old practice, but putting "Hindu calendar" on an official document is probably a first.
