X User's List On Why She Prefers Hyderabad Over Mumbai, Bengaluru Is Viral

A startup founder's list of reasons why she prefers Hyderabad over other major metropolitan cities like Mumbai and Bengaluru is going viral on social media. Taking to X (formerly Twitter) Shweta Kukreja, the founder of The Marketing Anatomy, shared her insights, mentioning that she has lived in Hyderabad for a year. She claimed that Hyderabad is underrated and excels in various aspects. "I would any day choose Hyd (Hyderabad) over Bangalore and Mumbai," she wrote. 

"This city is so underrated, in terms of everything," Ms Kukreja said. She gave five reasons why Hyderabad is better than the other two cities. "Less traffic (comparatively), ORR Road for airport (bestest), greenery (literally everywhere), aesthetics (unreal),  food... Need to hype this city up!" Ms Kukreja added.

Commenting on her X post, one user quipped, "Please do not hype it up. Do not want it to turn into the next bengaluru or mumbai".

Another X user wondered if Hyderabad is as safe as Mumbai for girls. "Can one roam at night 3 Am on streets ...Like we do in #Mumbai /? Can a girl worry free wear whatever she wants and go to A to B To C like in Mumbai. No right!?" commented the user. 

To this, Ms Kukreja said that the city is quite safe. "Yes. Hyd is safe as well. I have been out till 2-3 sometimes and its quite safe in that way. Rest it depends where you're staying," she wrote.

Another person pointed out the heat in Hyderabad. "I always felt Hyderabad is a little hotter compared to Bengaluru, but now even Bengaluru is suffering from a heatwave. Mumbai has that sticky heat unbearable in the daytime," the user said. 

"Lived for 6 yrs in Hyd.Moved to Blr.Hyd outside Gachibowli is still a tier 2 city.Professional life is a bit on the laid back side. Limited hangout options within or near the city. No good libraries.Blr is more cosmopolitan with fast paced life,great libraries & weekend getaways," expressed a user. 

Shweta Kukreja shared the post on Sunday. Since then, it has accumulated more than 753,000 views and over 4,800 likes.

Woman Slams Mamaearth Founder For Pregnancy Shoot, Gets Schooled Instead

An AI Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services expressed criticism on LinkedIn towards Mamaearth's founder, Ghazal Alagh, accusing her of prioritizing a photo shoot during her pregnancy "for the external world to see," instead of considering her own child's well-being. Prakriti Sharma reposted Mrs Alagh's pregnancy photoshoot, remarking, "Posting about being harsh and critical of herself during pregnancy and seeking validation for it from the internet makes it even more distressing to watch".

She concluded her post by saying, "Ladies pls be mindful about who you look up to & do not follow any bullshit advise served on the internet."

Ms Sharma's post came after Mrs Alagh posted about her pregnancy days and how she took up opportunities during her pregnancy. 

The comment sparked a heated debate, with many rushing to defend Mrs Alagh's decision.

A user wrote, "Prakriti, I think your take on Ghazal Alagh's decision/choice is not only unkind, but it reveals a shallow understanding of ambition, work ethic, and the reality of pregnancy. 
Pregnancy is unique to each woman; judging someone else's experience is presumptuous. Women are capable of incredible things during pregnancy. Dismissing those achievements as 'stupid' and harmful is insulting and regressive. Ghazal's story is inspiring because it challenges the very limits you seem comfortable with, pushes against the boundaries many people take for granted and echoes a truth - women can be mothers, leaders, and achievers all at once."

Another user commented, "I think you are being unreasonable, she is just trying to convey a point that pregnancy is not a handicap provided there are no complications. Maybe the latter part is what she needed to mention too. Because I have worked too and travelled till the end of my pregnancy taking care of my father recovering from COVID visiting the hospital daily. "

"Prakriti Sharma we all have our journeys and struggles. For a lot of us women, it's a need to work through our pregnancy. Just because someone shows this in a positive light to inspire others should not de-credit everything. Create your own story and please take it easy on yourself & other women. If anything, Ghazal looks stunning," the third user commented. 

The incident serves as a poignant reminder of the power of social media both to uplift and to criticize.

सीएम केजरीवाल की गिरफ्तारी के विरोध में ‘आप’ नेताओं ने किया सामूहिक अनशन

आम आदमी पार्टी (आप) के राष्ट्रीय संयोजक एवं दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल की गिरफ्तारी के विरोध में पार्टी के प्रमुख नेता एक दिन के अनशन के लिए रविवार को यहां जंतर-मंतर पर एकत्र हुए. पार्टी नेताओं ने कहा कि अन्य राज्यों के साथ-साथ विदेश में भी भारतीय नागरिक इस प्रकार का विरोध प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं, जिनमें बोस्टन में हार्वर्ड स्क्वायर, लॉस एंजिलिस में हॉलीवुड साइन, वाशिंगटन में भारतीय दूतावास के बाहर, न्यूयॉर्क टाइम्स स्क्वायर और टोरंटो, लंदन तथा मेलबर्न समेत कई स्थान शामिल हैं.

उन्होंने बताया कि ‘आप' शासित पंजाब में मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत मान स्वतंत्रता सेनानी भगत सिंह के गांव खटकर कलां में सामूहिक अनशन में शामिल हुए. दिल्ली विधानसभा के अध्यक्ष राम निवास गोयल, उपाध्यक्ष राखी बिड़लान, मंत्री आतिशी, गोपाल राय और इमरान हुसैन सहित ‘आप' के कई वरिष्ठ नेता सुबह 11 बजे से राष्ट्रीय राजधानी के जंतर मंतर पर दिन भर के 'सामूहिक अनशन' पर बैठे.

‘आप' की दिल्ली इकाई के संयोजक गोपाल राय ने लोगों से केजरीवाल की गिरफ्तारी के विरोध में अनशन में शामिल होने की अपील की. उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि दिल्ली आबकारी नीति से जुड़े घोटाले में प्रवर्तन निदेशालय द्वारा केजरीवाल की गिरफ्तारी ‘आप' को खत्म करने की भाजपा की साजिश का हिस्सा है.

आप ने गिरफ्तारी के समय को लेकर भाजपा पर निशाना साधा था और आरोप लगाया था कि वह केजरीवाल को आगामी लोकसभा चुनाव के लिए प्रचार करने से रोकने की कोशिश कर रही है.

अरविंद केजरीवाल को कथित शराब नीति घोटाला मामले में 21 मार्च को गिरफ्तार किया गया था, जब उन्होंने केंद्रीय एजेंसी के 9 समन का जवाब नहीं दिया था, और तब से वह ईडी लॉक-अप से अपनी सरकार चला रहे हैं. केंद्रीय एजेंसी ने आप नेता पर ''साजिशकर्ता'' होने का आरोप लगाया है. ईडी का मानना है कि अब रद्द की गई नीति में उच्च लाभ मार्जिन प्रदान किया गया था और रिश्वत के पैसे का इस्तेमाल कथित तौर पर आप के चुनाव अभियानों के वित्तपोषण के लिए किया गया था.

दूसरी ओर आप ने गिरफ्तारी के समय को लेकर भाजपा पर निशाना साधा था और आरोप लगाया था कि वह केजरीवाल को आगामी लोकसभा चुनाव के लिए प्रचार करने से रोकने की कोशिश कर रही है. 

इस सिलसिले में आप नेता मनीष सिसौदिया और संजय सिंह तथा भारत राष्ट्र समिति की नेता के कविता को गिरफ्तार किया गया है.

एफपीआई ने अप्रैल में अब तक भारतीय शेयर बाजारों से 325 करोड़ रुपये निकाले

शेयर बाजारों में उच्च मूल्यांकन और आम चुनावों के बीच विदेशी पोर्टफोलियो निवेशक (एफपीआई) सतर्क हो गए हैं, और उन्होंने इस महीने के पहले सप्ताह में बाजार से 325 करोड़ रुपये निकाले. डिपॉजिटरी के आंकड़ों के मुताबिक मार्च में 35,000 करोड़ रुपये और फरवरी में 1,539 करोड़ रुपये का निवेश करने के बाद एफपीआई ने शुद्ध निकासी की.

जियोजित फाइनेंशियल सर्विसेज के मुख्य निवेश रणनीतिकार वी के विजयकुमार ने कहा कि अमेरिका में 10-वर्षीय बॉन्ड का प्रतिफल बढ़कर 4.4 प्रतिशत हो गया है, जिससे निकट अवधि में भारत में एफपीआई निवेश प्रभावित होगा.

उन्होंने कहा कि उच्च अमेरिकी बॉन्ड प्रतिफल के बावजूद एफपीआई की बिक्री सीमित रहेगी, क्योंकि भारतीय शेयर बाजार में तेजी है और यह लगातार नए रिकॉर्ड बना रहा है.

कैपिटलमाइंड के वरिष्ठ शोध विश्लेषक कृष्णा अप्पाला ने कहा कि आम चुनाव के बाद या अमेरिकी फेडरल रिजर्व से ब्याज दर में कटौती के शुरुआती संकेत मिलने पर एफपीआई वापस लौट सकते हैं.

Sindhu's Wife Undergoes Cancer Surgery. He Says 'Rarest Of Rare..."

Former Indian cricket team batter and cricket commentator Navjot Singh Sidhu provided a huge update on his wife Navjot Kaur Sidhu's cancer operation. She has been suffering from breast cancer and this was her second operation after undergoing chemotherapy.  "Operation for rarest of rare Metastasis - lasted three and a half hours ….  Sidhu believes that Rohit Sharma would not have been replaced by Hardik Pandya as Mumbai Indians captain had the BCCI named him skipper for the T20 World Cup last year itself.
Rohit was declared captain of India's yet-to-be-named T20 World Cup squad in February this year by BCCI secretary Jay Shah at an event in Ahmedabad, a good two months after he was replaced by Pandya as MI skipper.

"If the BCCI had named Rohit as captain for the T20 World Cup in October, the franchise wouldn't have chosen Hardik as captain. It's a matter of the franchise's respect. So, the actual issue here is timing," Sidhu said in 'Star Sports Press Room'.

Pandya has been facing hostility from fans in the ongoing IPL, booed in all three matches so far, including the one at MI's home turf of Wankhede, besides ending up on the losing side.

Sidhu said the fans' reaction is quite understandable as Rohit is a much-loved cricketer.

"Nobody can digest the fact that India's hero, India's captain, is not the captain of our franchise. 'What wrong has he done?' is what fans of the franchise would be thinking. But what does he have to do? "There is nothing that succeeds like success. If he had won these two matches, there wouldn't have been any noise," he pointed out.

Talking about other teams in the IPL, Sidhu felt Royal Challengers Bengaluru have become predictable, especially in their spin bowling.

"The biggest thing needed in the winning of a team is that they are not dependent on just one individual to achieve victory. We do talk about Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis, but you got to saddle the right horse.

"The chain is as strong as the weakest link, and their weakness lies in the spin department. Their spinners are just not there, so therefore they will have to replenish that area. Like, RCB had (Wanindu) Hasaranga, who was pretty good and even before him, there was Yuzvendra Chahal," he observed.

"But they let them go and that has created a void in their bowling line-up. RCB haven't been able to fill that void, which makes them predictable. Now look at (MS) Dhoni - when he comes, no one knows his plan," he said.
