Quality You Have But Sachin, Kohli, Dhoni Don't? Ganguly's 1-Word Reply

Former BCCI president Sourav Ganguly is regarded as one of the best captains Team India ever had. Making his international debut in 1992, Ganguly played a total of 311 ODIs and 113 Tests, scoring 11,363 and 7,212 runs, respectively. Known for his aggressive batting style, the Kolkata-born cricketer led India in 2003 ODI World Cup, where his side lost against Australia in the final. Apart from this, he also formed a great opening pair with legendary Sachin Tendulkar and provided a strong base to India's batting line-up for many years.

Recently, the former Kolkata Knight Riders skipper appeared on a reality show, where he asked about one quality that he wants to take from Sachin, Virat Kohli, and MS Dhoni.

After thinking for a second, Dada replied, "Sachin's greatness, Virat's aggressiveness and Dhoni's calmness."

He was also asked, about "One quality that you have and Sachin, Virat, dhoni don't". His reply was, "adjustment".

Ganguly's reply left the audience spellbound as everyone gave him a round of applause.

Earlier, Ganguly also backed Kohli and skipper Rohit Sharma to feature in India's squad for the T20I World Cup in June.

"Of course Rohit should captain the team in the T20I World Cup. Virat Kohli also should be there. Virat Kohli is an outstanding player, nothing will happen (to return after 14 months)," Ganguly had said

Ganguly's tenure as the BCCI president came to an end in October 2022, after he was replaced by 1983 World Cup winning player of India, Roger Binny.

As a player, he has smashed 22 centuries and 72 half-centuries in ODIs and one double century, 16 tons, and 35 half-centuries in Tests. He has also played 59 matches in the Indian Premier League (IPL), where he scored 1349 runs with seven half-centuries.
