Traditional emergency service number Dial 100 will be closed in Uttar Pradesh from Saturday, October 26, and will be replaced by a single helpline number 112. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will launch the new number for emergency services on October 26; 112, which is an integration of calling for immediate assistance to the police (100), fire (101) and women (1090) helpline numbers in the state.
